| Translation is more than just replacing one word by another in a different language. A good translation gives a true representation of the meaning of the source language while at the same time respecting the customs and subtle nuances of the target language. After years of development, Sino-Vantage has established a database of linguists who are not only experienced in both linguistic and technical backgrounds but who are also responsible with their assignments. In addition, all of our projects are handled by native translators in their target language, that is, translations from any language into Simplified Chinese are translated only by Chinese translators, translations into Japanese by Japanese translators, and so on. | | | CAT tools such as Trados, SDLX, Catalyst, Déjà Vu, RC-Wintrans, and Idioms are employed to ensure the consistency of styles and technical terms. For example, if there is a large, urgent project that requires several translators, TM software and terminology tools will prevent the differences in style and terminology that vary from one translator to the next from influencing the translation, resulting in a seamless final product.
